Balqees Al Saeed to headline concert at Khorfakkan Amphitheater


Sharjah 24: As the country prepares to celebrate the nation’s founding golden jubilee, the Sharjah National Day Celebrations Committee announced a gala to take the celebrations to greater heights – a joint concert Emirati singing superstars Balqees and Fayez Al Saeed at Khorfakkan Amphitheater on December 1.
Proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Big Heart Foundation (TBHF), a United Arab Emirates-based global humanitarian organization dedicated to supporting refugees and people in need around the world.

The concert is part of an 11-day cultural extravaganza organized to mark the nation’s remarkable 50-year journey filled with memorable achievements. The cultural programs will take place in various regions of the Emirate from November 23 to December 2.

Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, Head of the Sharjah National Day Celebrations Committee, said: “We are delighted to bring together citizens and residents at this great concert to celebrate the achievements of this great nation and to motivate us on our journey. towards a prosperous future. “

He added, “Proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Big Heart Foundation to support the humanitarian organization in its laudable efforts around the world to extend a helping hand to every needy child and family facing hardships due to conflict, wars and natural disasters, to ensure that their fundamental right to a decent life is respected. “

For her part, Mariam Al Hammadi, Director of TBHF, said: “We congratulate the Emirati community and every resident on the occasion of the 50th National Day of the United Arab Emirates. It represents the great values ​​that have been defended by our founding fathers and the wise leadership of the nation since the inception of the country, foremost of which is humanitarian service and support for communities suffering from crises and conflicts. We thank the Sharjah National Day Celebration Committee for this generous donation of proceeds from the concert at the Khorfakkan Amphitheater, which will go a long way in supporting the world’s poorest people.
