The Camden Public Library plans to welcome musical instrument maker and sound therapist Jim Doble at 6 p.m. Saturday, October 30 in the amphitheater on Atlantic Avenue for the last community “sound bath” of the season. This program will take place in the dark and incorporate scary sounds.

“Come and enjoy a special inner night journey with the meditative sounds of gongs and chimes. It will be a sound meditation, a timeless moment to rest, reflect and let go with a little “supernatural” to help us get in the mood for All Hallows Eve, ”Doble said, according to a press release from the library.

Doble will be joined by La Lefebvre. Participants are encouraged to dress warmly and bring a flashlight and something comfortable for sitting or lying down. Donations will be accepted, with a portion for the benefit of the library.

To attend, contact Doble at 207-785-2212 or [email protected]. Registration is suggested in order to be notified in the event of modification or cancellation of this program.
