The hour-long walk will be led by Dr. Kathy Crowley, an instructor at the center and assistant professor of plant biology at Unity College.

She will discuss the mix of native and non-native plant species that create a diverse floral backdrop for Camden Harbour, according to a library press release.

This program is free, but there is a limit of 25 participants. To reserve a spot, email the center at [email protected].

Crowley is a plant biologist and general ecologist. She teaches courses in botany and ecology and conducts research on the ecology of forest and wetland ecosystems at Unity College.

Crowley’s research focuses on the role of plants in a changing environment.

The center aims to provide globally accessible environmental education and promote wildlife conservation through science. To learn more, visit centerforwildlifestudies.org.
