NEW ULM – State Street Theater Co. welcomes “America’s Everyday Comedian,” C. Willi Myles, for an evening of laughter on Friday October 29 at 7:30 p.m.
A seasoned performer, C. Willi Myles has a knack for connecting people to one another through humor and storytelling. After surviving his childhood growing up with nine sisters and a brother in Alabama, Willi moved to Minnesota to attend college and play football. With his stories of growing up in the south and acclimating to the cold weather of Minnesota, Willi puts a unique twist on life’s daily challenges, applying humor to them.
General Admission $ 25 tickets to the C. Willi Myles Comedy Club are now available for purchase at the New Ulm Chamber of Commerce, New Ulm Hy-Vee and online at Statestreetnewulm.org. A limited number of seats at the Comedy Club are also available for $ 35, or a table of eight for $ 280. Comedy Club tickets include premium stage seating, a snack, and a drink. In addition, $ 10 Student Rush tickets will be available for purchase on the night of the event starting at 7:15 p.m. Students wishing to purchase urgent tickets must present their student card. labeled “Urgent student ticketsâ€.
This event is made possible by voters in Minnesota through grants from the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council and the Minnesota State Arts Board, through legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
In accordance with the directives in force,
the COVID-19 protocols at the State Street Theater are as follows:
• Masks are encouraged.
• Distancing in the corridors is encouraged; while waiting in line for the concession stand, customers are required to space out.
• Customers making purchases at the concession stand are urged to return to their seats and consume them there, rather than clustering in the hallways.
• With the lifting of previous mandates, seats are now general admission with no spacing requirement.
• Artists can choose to hide or not.
