A rare benefit of the pandemic: Some theater complexes have taken advantage of COVID breaks to update their facilities. That list includes the Alamo Drafthouse in Aspen Grove in Littleton, which has just reopened after renovations; the Alamo theaters in Sloan’s Lake and Westminster were brought back into service months ago.
âThe reopening of Alamo Drafthouse Littleton is really exciting for our Denver theaters, but it’s also a big deal for our entire team,â said Tim League, Founder and Executive Chairman of Alamo Drafthouse. âItâs a lot of sweat, blood and tears that we have shed over the past two years. All of our Colorado theaters are open again, allowing us to start again doing what we do best, what we love to do, which is to provide a spectacular cinematic experience for our guests. ”
The Texas-based chain is known for its food service as well as comfortable seating – and the new seats, which have been installed in all seven auditoriums, include buttons that make ordering more convenient.
The Littleton location is promoting its reopening with scratch and win tickets, with which patrons can win free popcorn, drinks, queso, appetizers or entrees. It also brought back its signature lineup, including brunch screenings with special menus; film screenings that include drink specials and interactive props; and Terror Tuesday and Weird Wednesday, which spotlight fringe horror films. And all Alamo locations still offer a movie membership program, Season Pass, which entitles subscribers to unlimited monthly movie tickets.
Grab your popcorn – tickets are on sale now.
The Littleton Alamo Drafthouse is located at 7301 South Santa Fe Drive; see times and get tickets on the theater website.
