Sandra Juni is the new director of the State Street Theatre. The Willkommen Committee of the Chamber of Commerce stopped by to welcome him. Her passion for acting began when she was 8 years old on her banana seat bike to audition for “Hello Dolly” and she was cast in the ensemble. She continued to act and be part of many productions growing up. Originally, she wanted to study opera, but instead her opera dreams were changed to become a teacher for over 30 years. More recently, she taught at St. Paul. She says she can’t believe she gets paid to have so much fun and says the upcoming season at the State Street Theater is great. The facility was built in the 1930s and still has much of the historical integrity of the past. The theater can accommodate 950 spectators when the stage is used for seating.
