BEDFORD, Pa. – The Off Pitt Street Theater Company, 110 W. Pitt St., has several events planned, including a family Christmas play, and a Bedford arts group is hosting an exhibit.
“A Child’s Christmas in Wales”, written by Dawn Ziviello and adapted from the poem by Dylan Thomas, will be staged on December 4, 5, 11 and 12 at 7pm, with a morning on December 13 at 3pm.

The Bedford Arts Cooperative is accepting 2D and 3D artwork for a new exhibition titled “GRACE,” with an opening on December 5th. The show will be both in person and online in a new virtual gallery. Registration is done online, by email or by post. Registration is chargeable.
Drop off dates / times will be during the week of November 22. There will be a cash prize for the People’s Choice Award. All work must be ready for installation. The theme of the exhibit should be reflected in all submissions.
An artists reception, free and open to the public, is scheduled for November 28 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The show will be presented in December and January and during the family Christmas play. To register a work of art, visit www.OffPittStreet.com/BAC.
On October 23 and 24 at 7pm, Off Pitt Street Theater Company will offer the third installment of the “Fall Fright Nights” series with two thrillers: “Carmilla” by Sheridan Le Fanu and “The Scarlet Plague” by Jack London. Admission is a donation only.
Live radio shows feature Foley costumes, lights and sound engineering. Participation is limited in accordance with COVID-19 protocols and properly worn masks are mandatory without exception for the safety of members of the public and actors.
Also on the program, “Revolting Fairy Tales” by Roald Dahl, featuring OPS Kids, October 29 and 30 at 7 pm. Reservations are recommended but not required.
