Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce a partnership with Kelly ripa & Marc Consuelos‘Milojo Productions will present their online virtual vocals, Sip & Sing, available to stream live at iHeartRadioBroadway.com and the iHeartRadio Broadway Youtube channel from Friday April 23. The weekly Sing-Along Series takes place via Zoom on Fridays at 5 p.m. EDT and is hosted by the Broadway star Kyle barisich, alongside a different star from the Broadway and Bay Street scene each week. The program is free and prior registration is required.
Created by executive producer Tracy mitchell, Sip & Sing virtual singing began in March 2020 as part of the Bay Street Theater online programming platform, and quickly became the East End’s favorite interactive online event … the only one of the kind in the world. The series features weekly live performances from some of the most talented singers and performers who have graced the Bay Street stage for the past 30 years, performing Broadway show tunes, favorite tracks from the Great American Songbook and classics. a vacation … all with lyrics for you to sing along to.
Kyle barisich is a Southampton resident and a native of Los Gatos, Calif., who is best known for playing the role of Raoul in the 25th Anniversary Broadway cast of The Phantom Of The Opera, and was the first Hispanic actor to do it. He also played the role for the Los Angeles and San Francisco engagements of the long national tour. Kyle has been seen on several occasions at the Bay Street Theater, most recently playing Magaldi in Evita and appearing in My Fair Lady. He also participated in the first workshops of Scott schwartzproduction of the Prince of Egypt. Favorite regional credits include South Pacific at the Hollywood Bowl, Barrett in Titanic, Marvin in Falsettos, and Perón in Evita. Kyle often performs the audience warm-up for LIVE! starring Kelly and Ryan, and for two seasons he co-starred on The Follow (FOX) television show. Sip & Sing is produced by Tracy mitchell of the Bay Street Theater, as well as Kelly ripa, Marc Consuelos and Albert Bianchini of Milojo Productions, where Michael Halpern is Director of Development.
Tracy mitchell, before joining Bay Street Theater as an executive producer in 2008, graduated from Smith College and had a 20-year career as a television and film producer. She received two Primetime Emmy nominations and the Gracie Award for Outstanding National Programming for her ABC television special, About Us: The Dignity of Children, hosted by Oprah winfrey. Mitchell has produced hundreds of commercials, TV shows and films, including the groundbreaking IMAX film, Back To The Future-The Ride for the Universal Theme Park in Orlando, Florida. Mitchell was Managing Director of Plum TV and was honored to serve the Bay Street Theater for 14 years, producing over 200 productions, concerts and events during this time. During her tenure she helped transform Bay Street into a stable organization with the hiring of an Art Director Scott schwartz and the creation of a supportive board of directors. In addition to her great successes in the entertainment world, Mitchell takes great pride in her work in passing victims’ rights legislation for families of air disasters, for which she received a commendation from the White House.
