Stevie Nicks just announced four new headlining shows.
Luckily for local fans, one of those dates is in the Bay Area.
The two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Famer – first listed as a member of Fleetwood Mac, then later as a solo artist – is scheduled to perform at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View on June 12.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. April 29, livenation.com.
The other three new dates are:
Fri June 10 – Ridgefield, WA – RV Inn-style amphitheater
Thu June 16 – Salt Lake City, UT – USANA Amphitheater
Tuesday, June 21 – Noblesville, IN – Ruoff Music Center
These four dates are in addition to his previously announced upcoming performances at a number of festivals, including Bonnaroo and New Orleans Jazz and Heritage.
News of these dates will surely bring joy to Nicks fans, who have been waiting for the music star to embark on a tour for some time.
Nicks originally planned a trek for 2021, but ended up canceling those plans — including a headlining spot at last year’s BottleRock Napa Valley festival — due to COVID-19 concerns.
“These are difficult times with difficult decisions to be made. I want everyone to be safe and healthy and the rise in Covid cases should be of concern to all of us,” she posted on Twitter at the time. “Although I am vaccinated, at my age I am still extremely cautious and for this reason I have decided to skip the five performances I had planned for 2021.
“Because singing and performing has been my whole life, my main goal is to stay healthy so I can keep singing for the next decade or more. I’m devastated and know the fans are disappointed, but we’ll turn towards a brighter 2022.”
