Alan (aka “Al”) Jardine, guitarist, singer and songwriter, is best known as one of the founding members of the California band The Beach Boys. Al was born in Lima, Ohio on September 3, 1942 and met Brian, Carl and Dennis Wilson, Mike Love and David Marks after his family moved to Hawthorne, California. Al played mostly rhythm guitar and sang harmony vocals with the Beach Boys and sang lead on their #1 hit “Help Me, Rhonda.” In 2001, Al received a Grammy for lifetime achievement as a member of the Beach Boys.

In 2010, Al released his debut studio album, A Postcard From California, which featured guest appearances from Neil Young, Stephen Stills, David Crosby, Steve Miller, Glen Campbell, Gerry Beckley & Dewey Bunnell (America) and Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), plus all of the remaining Beach Boys. The environmental-themed album features Al’s originals “Don’t Fight The Sea”, “Looking Down The Coast” and “San Simeon” in addition to new versions of classic Beach Boys songs “Help Me , Rhonda” and “California Saga”.

In 2022, Al announced a very special show called Al Jardine Family & Friends Tour, featuring Carnie and Wendy Wilson, who are the daughters of Brian Wilson and Matt Jardine, who is Al’s son and received rave reviews from fans and critics alike for her superb lead vocals on songs like “God Only Knows” and “Don’t Worry Baby.” Playing the hits of the Beach Boys and Wilson Phillips is a family affair not to be missed!
