Scott Brown and the Diplomats are due to perform on October 29 at the Wall Street Theater in Norwalk. The diplomats are an offshoot of a group formed in New Zealand and most recently led by former US senator and former US ambassador Scott Brown. The band’s last event took place in Wellington, New Zealand, in front of 15,000 fans in Beervanna at the Sky Stadium. Playing together for almost four years, the group has complied with an impressive list of venues and paid appearances.
Upon returning from New Zealand, Brown sought out some of the region’s most talented musicians to reform the band as Scott Brown and the Diplomats. This talented group of musicians have played with some of the best talent and bands in New England. Their huge selection of hits that people grew up and loved to listen to and dance to, are legendary in New Zealand and will be in the United States.
Brown has had an interesting career in public service, but his real enthusiasm is performing on stage with the likes of Cheap Trick (5 times), Warrant, Firehouse (2 times) and many times with Alice Cooper, The Doug Flutie Band , The James Montgomery Band, The Ayla Brown Band, One Bar Heater New Zealand, The Fabulous Pakeha’s and more.
